Acryl F-50 – Acrylic roof waterproofing coating

Acryl F-50 acrylic roof waterproofing coating Superlux

Economical elastomeric acrylic waterproofing and thermal-insulating roof coating with polypropylene fibres.

The polypropylene fibres provide strong sealing performance in waterproofing applications. Suitable for roofs, tanks, Eternit, asbestos-cement and exposed concrete surfaces.

Its water vapour permeability helps reduce moisture build-up in the substrate and the development of mould indoors, while also providing resistance to standing rainwater.

It bridges hairline cracks in the substrate and does not crack with the formation of new ones. Elastic, non-tacky finish. Provides up to 5 years of protection.

• Apply on dry, clean surfaces, free from materials that may prevent adhesion.
• Successful application depends on proper substrate preparation and correct application of the material.
• Clean the surface from foreign particles, dust and residues.
• Prime the surface with two coats, using either water-thinnable Desmo Seal primer or solvent-thinnable Desmo Seal primer.

• Once the primer begins to dry, apply Acryl F-50 in two cross coats.
The second coat should be applied 24 hours after the first coat, once the first coat has dried.
• To adjust viscosity, it may be diluted with 5-10% water.

During application, keep tools “wet” inside the container or paint tray. Drain the paint thoroughly from the tools back into the tin and clean them with water.
