Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”), Greek Laws 4624/2019 and 3471/2006 and the applicable data protection framework.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to processing connected with the use of the Website, in particular when you:

This Policy relates specifically to the Website and is not a general internal privacy policy covering every processing activity the Company may carry out outside it.

3. Categories and Sources of Data

3.1 Contact Form and Direct Communications

The contact form requires your name, email address and subject and allows you to enter an optional message. We also process any additional information you choose to include. Please do not submit special categories of personal data or other sensitive information unless it is strictly necessary for your request.

Under the current configuration, the submission is emailed to the Company’s info@superlux.gr mailbox and an automated copy/confirmation is sent to the email address you provided. Submissions are not stored as separate form-entry records in the WordPress database, but their content remains in the relevant company mailboxes for as long as necessary.

If you contact us directly by email or telephone, we process the contact details and communication content you provide.

3.2 Newsletter

Newsletter registration collects your email address and a record of the related consent. The subscription is transmitted to the APIFON communications platform, which is used to manage the list and send informational or commercial messages.

To prevent repeated or abusive requests, the Website creates a temporary technical fingerprint from a hashed combination of IP address and email. It is used solely for rate limiting and expires after approximately 60 seconds. The raw IP address is not sent to APIFON by this function.

You may withdraw consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in the messages or by contacting info@superlux.gr.

3.3 Technical Data and Logs

When you access the Website, the hosting and security systems may process technical data such as IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referring page, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language, response codes and technical indications of errors or malicious activity.

3.4 Website Search

When you use the Website search, the search term is transmitted to the Website so that relevant results can be displayed. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in search terms.

3.5 Consent Preferences

The consent mechanism records your choices (acceptance, rejection or category preferences), consent status and the technical information necessary to store, apply and demonstrate those choices.

4. Purposes and Legal Bases

5. Complianz, Cookies and Consent Choices

The Website uses Complianz to display the banner and manage consent choices. Non-essential categories are denied by default and are activated according to your choice. You can accept, reject, configure individual categories and withdraw or change your selection at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link.

Strictly necessary cookies are used without consent only to the extent required for operation, security or storage of your choices. The current dynamic list of cookies, services, purposes and durations is provided in the Cookie Policy.

6. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Consent Mode v2

The Website uses Google Tag Manager (container GTM-MNBCKWKQ) as a technical tag-management system and Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-WQP0774BSL) to measure Website usage and performance. Google Analytics is activated through Google Tag Manager.

The implementation is connected to Complianz and Google Consent Mode v2. On every new visit, analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are initially set to denied and are updated according to your choice. Without analytics consent, this configuration does not create Google Analytics cookies or use an Analytics identifier stored on your device.

Due to the technical operation of advanced Consent Mode, Google may still receive limited cookieless signals when storage is denied, such as the consent state and basic technical or aggregated visit information. These signals do not contain Analytics identifiers stored in cookies. After analytics consent, information such as page views, interactions, navigation paths, general geographic area and device/browser characteristics may be transmitted.

The event and user data retention setting for this GA4 property is 14 months, with the retention period reset upon new user activity. This setting does not affect aggregated standard reports, which may be retained for longer in accordance with how the service operates.

The provider is, as applicable, Google Ireland Limited and companies in the Google group. Further information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy.

7. Google Fonts

At the date of the latest update, the Website loads certain fonts from Google servers. During the related request, Google may receive technical data such as the IP address, browser information and the requested page. The Company is evaluating conversion to local/self-hosted font delivery to limit this external connection. This section will be updated when the technical change is completed.

8. YouTube and Other Third-Party Content

Some pages may include YouTube videos or other external content. Such content is blocked and a placeholder is shown until the required marketing consent is given. After activation, the third-party provider may receive your IP address, device/browser information, the page visited and interaction data, and may use cookies under its own policy.

YouTube is provided by companies in the Google group. Further information: Google Privacy Policy.

9. Services Not Currently Used

At the date of the latest update, the Website does not use an active Google Ads/remarketing tag or Meta (Facebook) Pixel and does not provide public user-account registration, comments, reviews or file uploads. If such a function or service is added, the consent setup and this Policy will be reviewed before or upon its activation.

10. Recipients and Processors

Access is limited to those who need the data for the relevant purpose. Depending on the circumstances, recipients may include:

Where a third party processes data on the Company’s behalf, the relationship is governed by appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards.

11. Transfers Outside the European Economic Area

Certain technology providers, in particular companies in the Google group, may also process data outside the European Economic Area. Where an international transfer takes place, the appropriate legal mechanism is applied, such as an adequacy decision of the European Commission, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified organisations, Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard recognised by the GDPR.

12. Retention

After the relevant purpose ends and no other legal basis applies, data is deleted or anonymised.

13. Mandatory and Optional Data

Fields marked as required are necessary to submit the form or provide the function you requested. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to receive or answer the request. Additional message content and newsletter registration are optional.

14. Security

SUPERLUX applies appropriate technical and organisational measures, taking account of the nature of the data and the risks, to protect against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction. No system can guarantee absolute security; measures are evaluated and adjusted where required.

15. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions and limitations of the GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise a right, contact info@superlux.gr. Where reasonably necessary, additional information may be requested to verify identity. Requests are handled within the time limits provided by law.

16. Complaint to the Supervisory Authority

This right is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

17. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

At the date of the latest update, SUPERLUX does not make decisions through the Website that are based solely on automated processing and produce legal or similarly significant effects for a visitor. No advertising profiling is carried out through an active Google Ads or Meta Pixel implementation.

18. Minors

The Website is primarily intended for a professional audience and is not designed for children. SUPERLUX does not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal data. If data concerning a minor is found to have been submitted without the required legal basis, appropriate measures will be taken.

19. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to external websites or platforms. Those third parties operate under their own terms and policies. We recommend that you read their privacy policies before providing them with personal data.

20. Relationship with the Cookie Policy
