STONE CARPET PU is a one-component, solvent-based aliphatic polyurethane resin which, when combined with natural coloured aggregates, creates a decorative, anti-slip floor with high aesthetic value and excellent durability.

• Apply on dry, clean surfaces, free from materials that may prevent adhesion.
• For exterior applications, it is essential to first apply a waterproofing layer with a brush-applied polyurethane waterproofing coating, such as F2 Hybrid.
• Clean the surface from foreign particles, dust and residues.
Coloured natural aggregates are added to the polyurethane resin at a ratio of 1:10 to 1:20, depending on the desired result and the drainage level required, and the two components are mixed for approximately 5 minutes using a low-speed drill. In all cases, complete wetting of the aggregates must be ensured. The resin-bound decorative floor is pressed and spread onto the surface in one coat using a smooth metal trowel. Application thickness: 8-10 mm. During application, the special trowel oil must be used to improve the trowel’s sliding properties. After the decorative floor has hardened, one optional coat of Stone Carpet PU may be applied to enhance mechanical resistance.
Tools and containers should be cleaned with SL 801 polyurethane thinner while the mixture is still wet.
