Velatura – Solvent-based wood undercoat
Ideal undercoat for enamels, suitable for wooden and skim-coated surfaces.
It provides a matt finish with high whiteness and excellent hiding power. It is easy to work with, offers excellent flow and levelling, and sands easily.

• Apply on dry, clean surfaces, free from materials that may prevent adhesion.
• Successful application depends on proper substrate preparation and correct application of the material.
• Prime the surface with one or two coats of Velatura.
• To adjust viscosity, it may be diluted with 3% white spirit.
• Once the primer has dried, apply the final coating according to its specifications.
During application, keep tools “wet” inside the container or paint tray. Drain the paint thoroughly from the tools back into the tin and clean them with white spirit.
